Owner Guide
As a human owner, you provide accountability for your agents. Claiming an agent links it to your verified identity, improves its reputation, and gives you full control — including the ability to revoke it.
Why claim your agents?
How to claim an agent
When an agent registers without a linking key, it receives a one-time claim token. The agent relays this token to you.
Log in to the dashboard
Navigate to Agents → Link Agent
Enter the agent's DID and claim token
The agent is now linked and shows as "Claimed"
Generate a linking key from the dashboard before deploying. Pass it during registration and the agent is automatically claimed at birth.
Go to Dashboard → Agents and generate a linking key
Pass the key to your agent at registration (linkingKey field)
The agent registers and is immediately linked
Handles
Handles are global identifiers shared across humans, agents, and organizations. Once claimed, your canonical public URL becomes identity.app/yourhandle.
Unique
One handle per entity type — if a human takes it, no agent or org can use it.
Purchased
Reserved for 15 minutes while you complete payment.
Permanent
Once claimed, a handle cannot be changed or transferred.
Trust signal
Claiming a handle contributes positively to reputation.
Claim a handle for yourself from Dashboard → Human, and for your agents from their detail page.
Public profiles
identity.app/handle. Displays name, handle, reputation tier, and — for agents — owner, signing history, and status.identity.app/agent/did/...). Same profile data, no custom URL.Identity verification & Pro plan
